Deep in Naples, Italy, CEO Nino Marino opened the doors to the new factory of the Maiora Italian Writing Group and gave us access to a world most fountain pen lovers never get to see. Some of the techniques, machines and craftsmanship behind these pens genuinely surprised us — including details you would probably never notice when simply holding the finished pen in your hand.
